Our Artscape package is designed especially for artists - it allows you to add new images of your work to your site from any computer with internet access anywhere in the world, and change details such as whether an artwork is still for sale whenever you need. As you add new images Artscape adds new pages so that there are always enough pages to accommodate your work.
Updatable Artwork Information
As you would expect, each image has a space for the title, media and whether the artwork is sold (indicated by a red spot).
All of these areas can be edited by the owner of the site from the Artscape Administration Panel.
Magnifier Window
Visitors to your site can click on any image of your work to see a larger version of the image.

What is included?
- Main Page - an introductory page with an image of your work. This includes a news editor facility to allow you to keep your visitors up to date. You can add an extra page of text with a link from each news story. For example, you might choose to use this to draw visitors attention to new items that you are making available for sale, or an award that you have won.
- About - A page of information about you (with telephone and address details, if you choose to make this information available.)
- Gallery - the Artscape system - these pages expand or contract so that there are always enough pages for the number of images of your work.
- Magnifier window
- Links - A page of links to other websites - this page is updatable - you can add and edit links from your own computer.
- Shows / Exhibitions (if appropriate) - A page of details about shows and exhibitions that you can update yourself. This page includes the facility to automatically remove events as they occur so that the page only shows events that are current or in the future (you also have the option to have all events shown!).
- E-Mail - A form that allows people to send you e-mail. Using a form rather than simply printing your e-mail address on each page helps to minimise junk e-mail, much of which is generated by automated software which can read e-mail addresses published on the web.
Colour and Style
Although each Artscape site includes the same features, the look and style of each site is designed individually for each customer.
How will people find my site?
We undertake basic site promotion for all of our clients - this will ensure that your site is listed in most major search engines. However, if you want to ensure that people find your site, you should undertake some site promotion yourself via traditional methods such as including your website address on business cards and headed paper.
What equipment do I need?
To make best use of Artscape's features, you need access to a computer and a scanner or digital camera. If you don't have access to these facilities we can undertake site updates on your behalf.
Costs
£650 + domain registration and hosting costs.
How much will domain registration and hosting cost?
Between £45 and £70 for the first year depending on your choice of domain name.
